The specialized journal “Aerospace Testing International”, in the December 2016 issue, dedicated a paper to the European research project DREAm-TILT, coordinated by Hit09 in the framework of the Clean Sky Joint Technology Initiative. Aerospace Testing International
“Le Scienze”, Italian Edition of “Scientific American”, recently dedicated a paper to HIT09 as a succesful example of hi-tech Italian start-up HIT09_LeScienze.
HIT09 was selected among the ten finalists in the Clean Tech section of the Unicredit Start Lab contest for high potential Italian start-up (https://www.unicreditgroup.eu/startlab/it.html).
The proposed project was an innnovative concept of vertical axis wind turbine for distributed generation in urban and sub-urban areas.
Ernesto Benini and Rita Ponza, President and CEO of HIT09 respectively, presented the project to a commission of experts selected by Unicredit in Milan on 9th July.
The DREAm-TILT project, coordinated by Hit09, was shortlisted among the 20 Best Clean Sky Projects.
In light of this, Hit09 was invited to participate in the Clean Sky Forum, which was held in Brussels on 17th March 2015 (http://www.cleansky.eu/content/event/clean-sky-forum), and to exhibit a poster on the projects’ achievements (Poster-DREAm-TILT).
The DREAm-TILT research project, led by HIT09 in the framework of Clean Sky JTI, on the cover page of RUAG Aerodynamics Newsletter Issue 22 (aerodynamics_newsletter_22).
From the 28th to the 30th September 2014, HIT09 participated in RTEX, Robot Technology Exhibition, held in Dubai, UAE (http://www.rt-exhibition.com/).
We presented our engineering services both in the automation/robotics field and in the aerospace sector, and also our small turbine engines for aeronautics applications.
In addition, Prof. Benini, HIT09 President, gave a speech called “On-board trajectory optimisation as a decision support tool”.
